Filerimos / Ialysos Wedding Venue

Filerimos is a mountain situated in Ialysos city. Ialysos is one of the three ancient Dorian cities of Rhodes.

It is situated between the airport and Rhodes Town, on the West Coast, of the island.

Filerimos is also a historical monument. A Byzantine church, the foundations of the temple of Athena Polias and an Early Christian basilica are in exististence and worth to be seen.

If you choose Filerimos for your wedding then you will walk on a made of stone footpath named "Calvary" i.e. Golgotha where on both sides there are columns with scenes of the Jesus Christ's passions.

This tiny thickly planned road, leads to the western part of the hill, where an imposing Cross stands in the middle of a small square. A picturesque view is dominated by the Mountain Ataviros (highest mountain of Rhodes), in the distance and an unbeleivable view to the gulf of Ialysos.
